For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for words; how they interact, how versatile they can be, how they can be taboo and hybrid and powerful. The simple fact that a sentence can be interpreted in wildly contrasting ways by altering a prefix or a comma is fascinating.

Language, syntax, grammar and lyricism are words which to some appear daunting but, to me, are exciting. For this reason, I founded ‘Your Word Gurus‘, a service offering writing, editing, proofreading and content management.

My background comes from a little experience in PR, magazine contribution and B2B/B2C marketing as a content marketing executive, content manager and a ghost writer.
